CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. When A runs 200 m, B runs 180180 m.

  2. C runs 180200\frac{180}{200} of what B runs: 180×180200=162180 \times \frac{180}{200} = 162 m, so A wins by 3838 m.

Worth noting

40 m adds the margins, but B's margin over C shrinks because B runs less than the full race.
