CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Three points AA, BB, CC are collinear when AB→\overrightarrow{AB} and AC→\overrightarrow{AC} are parallel, with components in one ratio.

  2. For (1,2,3),(3,0,5),(4,−1,6)(1, 2, 3), (3, 0, 5), (4, -1, 6): AB→=2i^−2j^+2k^\overrightarrow{AB} = 2\hat{i} - 2\hat{j} + 2\hat{k} and AC→=3i^−3j^+3k^=32AB→\overrightarrow{AC} = 3\hat{i} - 3\hat{j} + 3\hat{k} = \frac{3}{2}\overrightarrow{AB}.

Worth noting

In (1,1,1),(2,3,2),(4,7,5)(1, 1, 1), (2, 3, 2), (4, 7, 5) the i^\hat{i} and j^\hat{j} parts of AB→\overrightarrow{AB} and AC→\overrightarrow{AC} are in the ratio 3, but the k^\hat{k} parts are not.
