Export Promotion Mission: ₹25,060 crore, two sub-schemes
The Cabinet approved the ₹25,060 crore Export Promotion Mission on 12 November 2025, with sub-schemes Niryat Protsahan and Niryat Disha.
On 12 November 2025 the Union Cabinet approved the Export Promotion Mission, announced in the Union Budget 2025-26, with an outlay of ₹25,060 crore for 2025-26 to 2030-31. It is aimed especially at MSMEs, first-time exporters and labour-intensive sectors, and replaces several fragmented schemes with a single outcome-based one.
It runs through two sub-schemes. Niryat Protsahan covers finance — interest subvention, export factoring, collateral guarantees and credit cards for e-commerce exporters. Niryat Disha covers everything else: quality and compliance support, market access and the wider export ecosystem. The Department of Commerce, the MSME Ministry and the Finance Ministry run it together.
