CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Face cards: 3 in each suit, so 12. Aces: 4. No card is both.

  2. Favourable =12+4=16= 12 + 4 = 16, so probability =1652=413= \frac{16}{52} = \frac{4}{13}.

Worth noting

313\frac{3}{13} counts only the face cards and 113\frac{1}{13} only the aces. 14\frac{1}{4} is the chance of any one suit.
