Show the answer and explanation
CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. Empirical relation: Mode = 3 × Median − 2 × Mean.

  2. Mode = 3×36−2×34.5=108−69=393 \times 36 - 2 \times 34.5 = 108 - 69 = 39 °C.

Worth noting

Swapping the roles (3 × Mean − 2 × Median) gives 31.5 °C. 37.5 °C is 2 × Median − Mean, and 70.5 °C just adds the two given values.

Empirical relation: Mode = 3 Median − 2 Mean
