CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. After year 1: 80000×1.1=88,00080000 \times 1.1 = 88{,}000.

  2. After year 2: 88000×0.95=83,60088000 \times 0.95 = 83{,}600.

Worth noting

84,000 uses 10−5=5%10 - 5 = 5\% on 80,000. The 5% fall is on 88,000, so it removes 4,400, not 4,000.
