CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. For every 900 g he gives, he is paid the cost of 1,000 g.

  2. Gain = 100 g on a cost of 900 g.

  3. Gain % = 100900×100=1119%\frac{100}{900} \times 100 = 11\frac{1}{9}\%.

Worth noting

The base is what he actually gives (900 g), not the 1,000 g he claims. Dividing by 1,000 gives 10%.
