CorrectNot quiteAnswer D

Correct answer: D

Explanation

  1. CP of one guava = ₹45 ÷ 9 = ₹5.

  2. SP of one guava = ₹32 ÷ 5 = ₹6.40.

  3. Profit % = 6.40−55×100=28%\frac{6.40 - 5}{5} \times 100 = 28\%.

Worth noting

Change both rates to the price of ONE guava before comparing. 21.875% is the profit divided by the SP instead of the CP.
