CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. Total cost = 50 × ₹360 + ₹500 = ₹18,500.

  2. Selling price = 50 × ₹400 = ₹20,000.

  3. Profit = ₹1,500, so profit % = 150018500×100≈8.1%\frac{1500}{18500} \times 100 \approx 8.1\%.

Worth noting

Transport is an overhead and goes into the CP. Leaving it out gives 11.1%. 7.5% divides by the SP.
