CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. Fraction paid = 0.9×0.95=0.8550.9 \times 0.95 = 0.855.

  2. MP = 20520.855=2400\frac{2052}{0.855} = 2400, that is ₹2,400.

Worth noting

₹2,359.80 adds 15% to ₹2,052. Increasing the SP by the discount rates never recovers the MP, because the discounts were on the larger price.
