CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Irene is lighter than Hari, and everyone else (Jugal, Leela, Kamal, Gita) is heavier than Hari.

  2. So Irene is the lightest and Hari is directly above her.

  3. The top four can be ordered in six ways (Gita may sit above or below Jugal), but Hari is 5th of 6 in all of them.

Worth noting

Jugal is the tempting answer, but Gita is only known to be heavier than Hari, so she can be lighter than Jugal. Hari's place is fixed; Jugal's is not.
