CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. Actual distance = 6.4×2,50,0006.4 \times 2{,}50{,}000 cm = 16,00,000 cm.

  2. 1 km = 1,00,000 cm, so the distance = 16,00,000÷1,00,000=1616{,}00{,}000 \div 1{,}00{,}000 = 16 km.

Worth noting

The scale is in centimetres. Dividing by 10,000 (as if 1 km were 10,000 cm) gives 160 km.
