CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. Nandini: 60,000×12=7,20,00060{,}000 \times 12 = 7{,}20{,}000. Kabir: 90,000×8=7,20,00090{,}000 \times 8 = 7{,}20{,}000.

  2. The ratio is 1:11 : 1, so Kabir gets ₹34,000 ÷ 2 = ₹17,000.

Worth noting

₹20,400 splits by capital alone (3/53/5 of ₹34,000), forgetting that Kabir's money was in for only 8 months.
