CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Interest on first part = a×6×5÷100=30a÷100a \times 6 \times 5 \div 100 = 30a \div 100; on second part = b×5×4÷100=20b÷100b \times 5 \times 4 \div 100 = 20b \div 100.

  2. 30a=20b30a = 20b, so a:b=2:3a : b = 2 : 3.

  3. First part = 25×11000\frac{2}{5} \times 11000 = ₹4,400 (second part ₹6,600).

Worth noting

Comparing only the rates (6a=5b)(6a = 5b) gives ₹5,000; the time must be multiplied in too. ₹6,600 is the second part.
