CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. First derivative: dydx=−2xsin⁡(x2)\frac{dy}{dx} = - 2 x \sin{\left(x^{2} \right)}.

  2. Differentiate again: d2ydx2=−4x2cos⁡(x2)−2sin⁡(x2)\frac{d^2y}{dx^2} = - 4 x^{2} \cos{\left(x^{2} \right)} - 2 \sin{\left(x^{2} \right)}.

Worth noting

−2xsin⁡(x2)- 2 x \sin{\left(x^{2} \right)} stops at the first derivative; d2ydx2\frac{d^2y}{dx^2} differentiates it once more.
