CorrectNot quiteAnswer D

Correct answer: D

Explanation

  1. cos⁡22x=1+cos⁡4x2\cos^{2} 2x = \frac{1 + \cos 4x}{2}.

  2. ∫1+cos⁡4x2 dx=x2+sin⁡4x8+C\int \frac{1 + \cos 4x}{2}\,dx = \frac{x}{2} + \frac{\sin 4x}{8} + C.

Worth noting

sin⁡4x4\frac{\sin 4x}{4} drops the 12\frac{1}{2} in front of cos⁡4x\cos 4x.
