CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. (sin⁡x+cos⁡x)2=sin⁡2x+cos⁡2x+2sin⁡xcos⁡x=1+sin⁡2x(\sin x + \cos x)^{2} = \sin^{2} x + \cos^{2} x + 2\sin x\cos x = 1 + \sin 2x.

  2. ∫(1+sin⁡2x) dx=x−cos⁡2x2+C\int (1 + \sin 2x)\,dx = x - \frac{\cos 2x}{2} + C.

Worth noting

Raising the bracket to the power 3 treats it like xx; its derivative brings an extra factor cos⁡x−sin⁡x\cos x - \sin x.
