CorrectNot quiteAnswer D

Correct answer: D

Explanation

  1. The pack has 12 face cards. Face card then not: 1252×4051\frac{12}{52} \times \frac{40}{51}; not then face card: 4052×1251\frac{40}{52} \times \frac{12}{51}.

  2. Together: 2×12×4052×51=802212 \times \frac{12 \times 40}{52 \times 51} = \frac{80}{221}.

Worth noting

40221\frac{40}{221} counts only 'face card first'; it can also come second.
