CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. Removing a 5 cm square at each end shortens each side by 10 cm: the base is 30 cm by 20 cm.

  2. The folded sides make the height 5 cm.

  3. Volume = 30×20×5=3,00030 \times 20 \times 5 = 3{,}000 cm³.

Worth noting

4,375 cm³ takes 5 cm off only one end of each side, and 6,000 cm³ uses the full sheet as the base.
