CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. Four walls = 2×(8+6)×3.5=982 \times (8 + 6) \times 3.5 = 98 m². Ceiling = 8×6=488 \times 6 = 48 m².

  2. Door and windows = 2×1+2×1.5×1=52 \times 1 + 2 \times 1.5 \times 1 = 5 m².

  3. Area to paint = 98+48−5=14198 + 48 - 5 = 141 m².

  4. Cost = 141 × ₹25 = ₹3,525.

Worth noting

₹3,650 forgets to leave out the door and windows, ₹2,325 leaves out the ceiling, and ₹4,725 paints the floor too.
