CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. Hemisphere volume = 23π×63=144π\frac{2}{3}\pi \times 6^3 = 144\pi.

  2. Cone volume = 13π×122×h=48πh\frac{1}{3}\pi \times 12^2 \times h = 48\pi h.

  3. 48πh=144π48\pi h = 144\pi, so h=3h = 3 cm.

Worth noting

1 cm forgets the ⅓ in the cone formula, and 6 cm assumes the height equals the hemisphere's radius.
