EasyOriginal question

CorrectNot quiteAnswer D

Correct answer: D

Explanation

  1. Volumes are equal: 43π×93=π×62×h\frac{4}{3}\pi \times 9^3 = \pi \times 6^2 \times h.

  2. π cancels: 972=36h972 = 36h, so h=27h = 27 cm. (No value of π is needed.)

Worth noting

20.25 cm drops the 4/34/3 from the sphere's volume, and 13.5 cm halves the answer. 9 cm wrongly assumes the height equals the sphere's radius.
