CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Divisible by 2: 100 numbers. Divisible by 5: 40 numbers.

  2. Divisible by both (that is, by 10): 20 numbers, counted twice above.

  3. Divisible by 2 or 5=100+40−20=1205 = 100 + 40 - 20 = 120.

  4. Divisible by neither = 200−120=80200 - 120 = 80.

Worth noting

120 counts the numbers divisible by 2 OR 5 — the opposite of what is asked; 140 adds 100+40100 + 40 without removing the overlap.
