CorrectNot quiteAnswer D

Correct answer: D

Explanation

  1. Total cost = 200 × ₹6 + ₹60 = ₹1,260.

  2. Required SP = 1.2 × ₹1,260 = ₹1,512.

  3. Eggs left to sell = 200−20=180200 - 20 = 180.

  4. Price per egg = ₹1,512 ÷ 180 = ₹8.40.

Worth noting

₹7.56 spreads the takings over all 200 eggs, but the broken ones cannot be sold. ₹8.00 forgets the ₹60 transport cost.
