CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. In 6 days Kavya does 624=14\frac{6}{24} = \frac{1}{4} of the app, leaving 34\frac{3}{4}.

  2. Together: 124+112=324=18\frac{1}{24} + \frac{1}{12} = \frac{3}{24} = \frac{1}{8} per day.

  3. Time for 34\frac{3}{4}: 34÷18=6\frac{3}{4} \div \frac{1}{8} = 6 days.

Worth noting

12 days is the total from the start (6+6)(6 + 6). 9 days is Rohan alone doing the remaining three-quarters, forgetting Kavya keeps working.
