CorrectNot quiteAnswer D

Correct answer: D

Explanation

  1. Sum of pair rates: 112+120+115=5+3+460=15\frac{1}{12} + \frac{1}{20} + \frac{1}{15} = \frac{5+3+4}{60} = \frac{1}{5}.

  2. All three together: 15÷2=110\frac{1}{5} \div 2 = \frac{1}{10} per day.

  3. Farhan = all three − (Deepa + Elango) = 110−112=160\frac{1}{10} - \frac{1}{12} = \frac{1}{60}.

  4. Farhan alone takes 60 days.

Worth noting

Subtract the pair that does NOT contain Farhan. Removing the wrong pair gives Deepa's 20 days or Elango's 30 days instead.
