CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. Neha = 5k5k, brother = 4k4k, mother = 5k+265k + 26.

  2. In 3 years: mother = 5k+295k + 29; children together = 9k+69k + 6.

  3. 5k+29=9k+6+115k + 29 = 9k + 6 + 11, so 4k=124k = 12 and k=3k = 3.

  4. Neha 15, brother 12, mother 15+26=4115 + 26 = 41 years.

Worth noting

44 years is the mother's age three years from now. Also remember the children's combined age rises by 6, not 3.
