CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. Let the angle be xx. Supplement = 180∘−x180^\circ - x, complement = 90∘−x90^\circ - x.

  2. 180−x=5(90−x)=450−5x180 - x = 5(90 - x) = 450 - 5x.

  3. 4x=2704x = 270, so x=67.5∘x = 67.5^\circ.

Worth noting

22.5° is the complement and 112.5° is the supplement of the answer. Check: 112.5=5×22.5112.5 = 5 \times 22.5.
