Show the answer and explanation
CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. Cheaper : dearer = (45−36):(36−30)=9:6=3:2(45 - 36) : (36 - 30) = 9 : 6 = 3 : 2.

  2. 2 parts = 12 kg, so 1 part = 6 kg.

  3. Cheaper dal = 3×6=183 \times 6 = 18 kg.

Worth noting

8 kg comes from reversing the ratio to 2:32 : 3.
