CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. With x→π6+π3−xx \to \frac{\pi}{6} + \frac{\pi}{3} - x, tan⁡x\tan x becomes cot⁡x\cot x, and 11+cot⁡x=tan⁡xtan⁡x+1\frac{1}{1 + \sqrt{\cot x}} = \frac{\sqrt{\tan x}}{\sqrt{\tan x} + 1}.

  2. Adding the two forms: 2I=∫π/6π/31 dx=π62I = \int_{\pi/6}^{\pi/3} 1\,dx = \frac{\pi}{6}, so I=π12I = \frac{\pi}{12}.

Worth noting

π6\frac{\pi}{6} is 2I2I, the length of the interval; the integral is half of it.
