CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Managers : others = (30,000−25,000):(50,000−30,000)=5,000:20,000=1:4(30{,}000 - 25{,}000) : (50{,}000 - 30{,}000) = 5{,}000 : 20{,}000 = 1 : 4.

  2. Total parts = 1+4=51 + 4 = 5.

  3. Managers = 15×120=24\frac{1}{5} \times 120 = 24.

Worth noting

30 comes from taking one-fourth of 120 — a ratio of 1:41 : 4 means one part in FIVE. 96 is the number of other employees.
