Options for question 49

Show the answer and explanation
CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. Interior + exterior = 180°, and interior = 7 × exterior, so 8 × exterior = 180°.

  2. Exterior angle = 22.5°.

  3. Number of sides = 360÷22.5=16360 \div 22.5 = 16.

Worth noting

22.5 is the exterior angle, and 8 is just 7+17 + 1. Finish the last step: sides = 360 ÷ exterior angle.
